Exposed Aggregate
Textured, slip-resistant finish showing the natural stone within the mix.
Specifications
Exposed aggregate is Perth's most popular driveway finish for good reason. The natural stone aggregate - pea gravel, river pebble or crushed granite - is revealed by washing the surface cement away before it fully cures, leaving a textured, slip-resistant surface that holds up to decades of vehicle traffic without showing wear.
Bright Stone sources locally-quarried aggregates wherever possible, giving each pour a distinct character rather than the generic look you see from imported mixes. The texture provides natural traction in wet conditions, making it ideal for entry driveways, side paths and sloping areas where smooth concrete would be a slip hazard.
Colour, aggregate size and stone type are all customisable at the mix stage. Once poured and sealed, exposed aggregate requires minimal maintenance - a periodic reseal every 8–10 years keeps it looking as sharp as day one.
