Coloured Concrete

Coloured concrete uses mineral oxide pigments mixed directly into the concrete at the batch plant, so the colour is integral - not painted on. That means it won't peel, flake or fade the way surface-applied treatments can. Over 20 standard tones are available, from warm terracottas and ochres to cool charcoals and earthy taupes, and custom blends can be matched to your home's existing materials.

The surface finish can be broom-textured for driveways and paths where grip matters, or steel-trowelled smooth for feature areas and indoor-outdoor transitions. Stamped patterns are also available, though we find the cleaner plain finishes age better and suit Perth's contemporary residential architecture.

UV stability matters in Perth's harsh sun, and we spec pigments specifically rated for outdoor Australian conditions. A penetrating acrylic sealer protects the colour post-pour; re-application every 5–7 years keeps the surface fresh and extends colour life.
